The rhythm of the drums and music are a tool for unity, fun and a moment of timeless expression. A drum circle is a fun, family friendly event where people unite to empower each other and share their spirit through a rhythmically, entertaining percussion ensemble.

People of all musical levels will share their rhythmical spirit with whatever drums and percussion they bring to the event. Everybody is welcome. You won’t want to miss this experience!

PRANAYAMA PRINCIPLES & PRACTICE

Did you know that some ancient Yogis considered breathing an even more important part of yoga than movement?

The practice of yogic breathing, known as prā-nā-yā-ma, is a subtler form of yoga than that of the physical postures we know and love. The great teachers of the past tell us that breath work is the gateway that opens the path to the more advanced, inner experiences that yoga can offer. Learn the foundational principles of pranayama, and how to apply them to your regular yoga practice. All levels are welcome!

GONG BATH WITH 7 LIVE GONGS

Various types of sound healing techniques are becoming increasing popular, but you haven’t had a full experience until you’ve tried a Gong Bath!

One of the most exciting events to be held during OM FEST, will be a LIVE Gong Bath – a healing experience to take place with seven Gongs played simultaneously, under the Full Moon. The most sublime instrument of the Yogi is the Gong. Ancient texts describe this instrument as providing the sound of the core of the universe.

The sound of the Gong creates deep relaxation, releasing us from the torrent of thoughts flooding our mind, and stimulates the glandular system to a higher level of functioning. Let go and allow the power of seven Gongs do the work while you relax and receive the benefits!

Vinyasa Flow is a highly popular school of yoga that synchronizes movement with breath. Classes can range from Power Flow to Slow Flow, and there are various styles of this school that match different practice levels and the individual needs of participants.

This yoga practice has become increasingly popular and classes can cater to many different levels to match the goals and wants of all yogis, but Vinyasa Flow is known to be a vigorous physical and mental workout. Modifications will be made and the use of props is always encouraged in Vinyasa Flow!
